Silver Oak Click Rigid Core Luxury Vinyl Tile Wood Flooring is 1220mm long and 180mm wide, and has a total thickness of 4mm. It also has a wear layer of 0.30mm and bevelled edges that add depth and definition, meaning they make a room look larger.
Vinyl flooring looks identical to the material it emulates, but is always a fraction of the price of authentic alternatives. It is comfortable for walking on, as it is thick, cushioned, and works well with underfloor heating to maintain heat year round. Alternatives do not provide this. Vinyl is also hard-wearing, meaning it can withstand lots of footfall, as well as being non-absorbent, anti-slip and easy to clean. This makes it suitable for the bathroom, kitchen, hallway, lounge and dining room, aided by the fact it is available in the style of any material or pattern you can think of!
A vinyl oak floor is indistinguishable from a real oak floor. The grain and knots of natural oak flooring are well replicated in our range, and bring a warm cosy feeling into any home. This oak has a grey hue, giving it a unique and elegant touch and is a neutral shade that works with any other decor. This makes it ideal for fitting into a home that has already been decorated.
Vinyl wood creates that air of elegance without the price tag or deforestation that occurs with authentic wood, which is especially useful for those who want to look after the planet and their wallet. It also has the advantage of not warping or shrinking in changes to humidity like real wood does, meaning underfloor heating is suitable and your floor will stay as you bought it for years to come.
Vinyl that has a click installation method means it is easy to install as it just locks into place. This makes it stable, although it can also be glued or nailed down to increase this further. It is suitable for busy households with lots of children running around without risk of the floor slipping. Another benefit of this installation method is easy replacement of one section rather than the entire floor should damage occur.
